1. About Bookliz
Bookliz is a personal reading tracker created by Mysto Dev. The service helps users catalog books, track reading progress, log sessions, and discover new titles.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bookliz. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your account
You may sign in using supported authentication providers such as Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for any activity that occurs under it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Bookliz. In particular, you may not:
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app, website, or backend systems;
- upload or submit content you do not have the right to use;
- use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.
5. User content
You retain ownership of the content you create in Bookliz, such as notes, reviews, quotes, and reading history. By using the service, you grant us a limited right to store, process, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve Bookliz for you.
6. Book data and third-party sources
Book metadata, covers, and related information may come from third-party services such as Google Books and Open Library. We do not guarantee that this information is always accurate, complete, or available.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or modify parts of Bookliz at any time, including features, design, and integrations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
8. Intellectual property
Bookliz, including its branding, interface, and original software, is owned by Mysto Dev and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of the service itself.
9. Disclaimer
Bookliz is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mysto Dev will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of Bookliz.
11. Termination
You may stop using Bookliz at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or misuse the service.
12. Governing terms
These Terms of Use are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction in which Mysto Dev operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, notify users through the app or website.
